It is an over-the-counter (OTC) device, which you can use at home for temporary relief of pain from sore and aching muscles.
How it works.
For this TENS device - Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator - self-adhesive electrodes are placed on the skin near the area of pain. Then the device delivers electrical pulses across your kin through these electrodes. These pulses activate the underlying sensory nerves. You can choose from 15 pre-set programs with different pulse settings. In each program you can adjust the intensity of the low electrical pulse.
This makes your muscles contract, which is good for muscle condition and its performance.
